Sculpture path at Avery Point

The University of Connecticut at Avery Point strives to make its beautiful peninsula campus by the Long Island Sound accessible to its Southeastern Connecticut community. Over the past ten years waterfront walkways, a renovated lighthouse, an observation deck and many landscaping improvements have enhanced the public accessibility.

The Sculpture Path is the latest and perhaps the most spectacular addition the campus. Julia Pavone, Artistic Director, and Joe Comprone, Campus Director, invite you to enjoy this community and state treasure any day of the week between dawn and dusk.

We anticipate additional sculptures being added, as the path grows, and the years go by.

Stroll the beautiful brick lined memorial trail along the banks of the Long Island Sound and view stunning monumental sculptures by contemporary, regional and national artists.

Santoro - Thru the Black Hole

Let our Sculpture Path lead you to our refurbished Avery Point Lighthouse. For more information about the lighthouse, visit the Avery Point Lighthouse Society web site at http://averypointlight.com/.
