Summer session is in full swing, but things are quiet in the Academic Center. Tutoring is by appointment only in the summer. To request an appointment, visit our Schedule and appointment information page.
The Academic Center will be open during the summer but not on any particular schedule. The PC Lab is closed. If you need to use the computers, please call ahead to find out when we will be open, or schedule an appointment (860-405-9058). Computers are also available in the Library, where summer hours are the same as those during the regular semester.
Study space - the "Mac Room"
Our annex is open and available during the summer, so if you need a quiet place to study, drop by (ACD 306).
Our virtual "Learning Commons" Librarian Office hours in the "Mac Room" will return in the fall.
Meanwhile, stop by the library for help with research and electronic resources. The Library is open for business Monday-Friday as regularly scheduled.

Planning is underway for an Academic Integrity Awareness Week, September 8-12, 2008.
In September of 2007, The Academic Center and the Library at the Avery Point campus co-presented "An Allegorical Guide to Plagiarism & Other Forms of Academic Misdemeanors and Felonies" workshop for faculty . To view the Allegorical Guide Group Scenarios used during the workshop, click here.
